Construction Project Management in Wichita and surrounding areas

Are you wanting to do most of your project yourself but want help
on the more technical aspects of general contracting your own build?

The Project Managers at Hatchet General Contracting can assist as little or as much as you’d like in your building process.
Some of the things we can do to help you on your project are:

  • Procure building permits*

  • Make sure the building progression, materials, and work performed matches your plans to minimize fitting and alignment issues during the build process

  • Create a sub-contractor and trade schedule for you to ensure your project gets done in a timely manner.

  • Schedule the sub-contractor’s start dates

  • Procure and organize sub-contractor estimates and give recommendations

  • Make sure work is completed to code before inspection to ensure fast progression and prevent our clients from paying for incomplete or poor work*

  • We can help with the project accounting and make sure sub-contractors are paid and invoices aren’t forgotten

  • We can price shop materials and suppliers to ensure you are getting the best quality and prices available

  • Schedule deliveries and disposal to ensure your job site is neat and isn’t cluttered but your materials arrive when needed*

  • Make sure the job site is adhering to jurisdictional rules during the build to ensure timely progress*

  • Help pick styles, looks, accessories, colors, or anything product related

  • We can also make suggestions to maximize the resale value of your home or building project

If you made it this far you’ve notice its quite a long list of ways we can help manage your project. Coincidently, we think these are all exceptionally good reasons to hire a General Contractor. A home or building project is a full time job and many people find themselves overwhelmed when taking on their own large scale project. Compiling the estimates for all the parts of a home build or building project can take 1-3 months, sometimes longer. The building process from bare dirt to finished product can take 6 months if its a fairly simple and straight forward build. Dependent on size and complexity, it can reach up to several years.

But don’t worry we’re here to help!
